School Diversity Week 2021: new resources launched

School Diversity Week is Just Like Us' annual celebration of LGBT+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans) equality in education, celebrated by primary schools, secondary schools and colleges across the UK and taking place from 21 to 25 June 2021.

To take part, all you have to do is hold an event – from a poster campaign to an assembly. You can sign up  free at jlu.force.com/s/school-diversity-week-signup.

The School Diversity Week toolkit includes:

  • a lesson and activity for all curriculum areas from the early years foundation stage to key stage 4
  • free online masterclasses on a range of diverse subjects led by LGBT+ experts in their field, including Evan Davis, Lord Michael Cashman and Erin Ekins
  • opportunities for pupils to be involved in a national social media campaign.

More information and the sign-up form can be found at justlikeus.org/school-diversity-week.
