NAHT welcomes into full membership all education leaders from both academic and managerial grades within educational professions in England, Wales, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and Scotland.

Those eligible to join include:

Executive leaders, executive heads and chief executives    Full-time: £40.64 monthly/ part-time (based on 0.6 FTE): £24.38 monthly

Head teachers and principals    Full-time: £38.54 monthly/ part-time (based on 0.6 FTE): £23.12 monthly

Deputy head teacher and vice principals   Full-time: £30.45monthly / part-time (based on 0.6 FTE) £18.27 monthly

Assistant head teachers    full-time: £21.42 monthly / part-time (based on 0.6 FTE): £12.85 monthly

Middle leaders   full-time: £15.49 monthly/ part-time (based on 0.6 FTE): £9.29 monthly

School business leaders   Full-time £21.42 monthly / part-time (based on 0.6 FTE): £12.85 monthly

Children’s centre leader    Full-time: £21.42 monthly / part-time (based on 0.6 FTE): £12.85 monthly

Life membership (for retired members)  A one-off fee is payable in the first year: head teachers £462.48, deputy head teachers £365.40, assistant heads and school business managers £257.04, and middle leaders £185.88. This can be paid as a single payment or in 12 monthly instalments. Thereafter £44.73 per annum is chargeable.

Associate member   £19.22 monthly / £230.64 annually
