As schools are closed to the majority of pupils, schools are developing ways to support learning in the home environment.  Below are some links to sites which members and their staff might find particularly useful, while recognising the need to be mindful of the varied access to technology pupils may have and our responsibilities to try to keep children safe online. The Department for Education has published an initial list of online educational resources to help children to learn at home which offers a wide range of support and resources for pupils of all ages. The Department for Education has also published various pieces of guidance relevant to both schools and parents and carers including:

For PSHE education,  the PSHE Association has created a guide to teaching PSHE remotely, which not only includes valuable advice on what can be safely covered at home but also topics that should be avoided. You can read more here.  

Beginning Monday 20 April, BBC Bitesize will publish daily online lessons for all ages. They will also have a new dedicated TV channel full of learning content, podcasts on BBC Sounds and loads of educational video on iPlayer.
