Support available for schools’ use of assistive technology

National Star is hosting a series of webinars and training events during February and March to help schools ensure their curriculum is inclusive and accessible for all pupils.

This includes an assessment offer to help SENCos and leaders identify the best tools to support intervention. These assessments will:

  • look at what technology the learner currently uses
  • look at what barriers they have to accessing the curriculum
  • make suggestions as to possible technology solutions.

To access support, please visit National Star’s SEND Hub at www.nationalstar.org/products-services-facilities/star-technology/accessible-tech/send-support-hub/

The hub has been designed to enable specialist support for learners with additional learning needs through assistive technology.
