Broadcast: NAHT(NI) school restart; science and practice

broadcast.jpg

We held a live broadcast for members in Northern Ireland on 23 September 2020.

We were joined by virologist Dr Lindsay Broadbent, who works as an ISSF Welcome Trust Research fellow at Queens University Belfast.

Dr Broadbent has provided invaluable insights and commentary throughout the covid-19 pandemic. For the event, she answered members' questions related to the science around covid-19 and the implications of the physical restart of schools.

NAHT(NI) director Helena Macormac discussed the headline results from our recent survey on employer support and funding.

And NAHT(NI) president Dr Graham Gault provided an update on the ongoing work we're doing on members' behalf.
