Pay and conditions for teachers in residential establishments are aligned with those in the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document (STPCD) or the new Pay and Conditions Document for Wales, as well as the Burgundy Book.
However, there are a small number of allowances and pay scales that are not covered by the above provisions but are instead agreed by the Joint Negotiating Committee for Teachers in Residential Establishments (JNCTRE), of which NAHT is a member.
